Another Piece of Linn County

My...simplified map of the Cornell College campus in the small town of Mount Vernon Iowa. It's a beautiful place with a grand old church and a small pond where students can relax and geese rest up for their migrations. The academic buildings tend to be in the same area save for some notable exceptions such as McWethy, the art building by the football field. It's home to talented artists and the occasional bat that wishes to terrorize them. As for dorms there is Bowman-Carter supposedly haunted by a ghost that will push guys down the stairs if they're there after hours.
Not far from Cornell there is a four way
intersection where several business cluster together. One such place is Gary's (in blue), a grocery store that caters to the needs of college students and offers a place of employment.
There is also the car dealership (in red) which will be nice enough to help find an auto repair shop if say your transmission lines break during the last week of school.

Finally Cedar Rapids, or at least a few of the places I remember most about it. Tierra is a small coffee shop near the mall, a nice place that despite having internet access coerces a surprising amount of work to get done. Then there's the airport, the closest to Cornell and thus an important place for students that want to get home for the holidays. The people are nice there and will offer you some bottled water when your luggage gets flown to the wrong airport.
